About me

Hey, my name is Virag [ˈviraːɡ] and I am a certified breath coach. If you are looking for an out-of-body experience, I am not your gal. But I definitely am if you would like to re-train yourself to breath well.

It took me 37 years to figure out that I was doing it all wrong. I mean not totally wrong because then chances are slim that I’d be writing this — but I sure wasn’t breathing well. I needed a major health issue to figure this out. Today, doing breathwork is part of my life (yes, I walk my talk) and the results are so tangible that unless I’d have tried it myself, I probably would find the testimonials on good breathing a great PR stunt.

Doing the certification was a hunch. Putting my coaching abilities out here was a deep & confident feeling of “yes, I can bring value added to others”.

Why you probably need

breathe coaching

Most of us are over-breathing. This, by the nature of breathing physiology, is triggering our fight-and-flight responses. I know that we are all bombarded every day with the newest “you-must-dos-to-have-a-great-life”, but just think: we come to the world with our first breath (inhale) and we leave with our last breath (exhale), and in-between we could not exist without the power of breath.

And you probably remember from biology class how breathing has something to do with the oxygen in your blood, and something about how CO2 leaves your body and how all these are literally keeping you alive. Uniquely, breathing is among the few vital bodily functions that can be controlled consciously, as well as unconsciously.

While conscious (or yoga) breathing has been around for thousands of years, somehow we just speeded our breathing up in line with our fast-paced life. Unquestionably, much to our detriment. Not exclusively, but bad breathing is the root of the ever-growing level of anxiety, panic disorders, asthma, sleep disorders, bad digestion.

The applied breathing techniques are a safe and fast way to affect your breathing and your nervous system response.

No experience of any kind is needed. I take a very simple, science-based approach that is effective for everyone.
